Visit in Spain 7..11 March 2022

Monday, 7 March 2022 - Friday 11 March 2022 R. E. A. C. H. To SHARE, 3rd mobility to Figueres, a town in the region of Girona, Barcelona, that dates back into the medieval times and it is Dali's birthplace. Our host school welcomed the partners from France (coordinator), Greece, Portugal, Romania and Turkey and our journey to the Catalanyan culture has just begun!

Monday 7/3/2022 :
The Spanish students guided their peers to the heritage route of the historical centre of the medieval town of Figueres: la Rambla, Placa de las Patates, Torre Galatea (with a surrealist touch given by Dali), ending up at a typical restaurant to enjoy the Catalanyan gastronomy.

Tuesday 8/3/2022:
On a windy day with tramuntana a visit to Cadaques, Dali's favourite fishermen's village, today famous tourist resort and a national cultural heritage site.

The majestic medieval city of Girona, founded in 1st century BC by Romans, incursed by German tribes, Visigoths, dominated by the Moors, incorporated into Charlemagne's empire and later a county of the Catholic monarchy. Now a prosperous UNESCO world heritage city.
